XM Raises Rates - Grumble Grumble

I'm an XM subscriber and I'm not sure if I like this price hike. Oh, but I can listen to Opie and Anthony for free now, big woop, I don't listen to those guys anyway. Rather have Howard Stern. The only saving grace is they are giving the XM Radio Online away now, which is smart. I couldn't believe they were charging for it anyway. I do have an XMPCR hooked up so I guess if I stop paying the monthly fee for that radio and just take everything off the Intenet, I would break even.

I like havng XM on the computer because I use Total Recorder on my PC to auto record some shows. This is basically podcasting without an ipodder for shows that don't podcast.

New Ipod Mini for $200

A 4Gig ipod mini for only $200 is looking pretty appealing. What is more amazing, Apple now has ipods at $50 increments from $99 to $349. That's impresive.

Disney strategy, oust success

I just don't understand Eisner. First Pixar and now Miramax. These guys have made you and Disney a ton of money and have been holding up the not so hot film unit for years, so you dump them. That's not smart. Maybe another reason why Eisner is on his way out.

Be afraid, be very afraid. T-Mobile's database did get hacked, which is how Paris's data most likely got out, but Bluetooth hacking is comming soon. Unless you encrypt it, your data is not safe, anywhere, anytime.

New mobile phone virus hits US

As if viruses on your computer weren't fun enough, now we have our first cell phone virus, at least in the US. This is exactly why I would never take any kind of implanted computer or machine of any kind. Although I would love an implanted device that managed my diabetes. That might be worth the risk.

Welcome to 3 Ring Podcast

Hello and welcome to the 3 Ring Podcast/Blog. Since all Podcasts have blogs attached to them, maybe we should be calling it blogcasting. Either way, welcome. I couldn't figure out what 3 Ring Podcast should focus on, so it will focus on everything. Technology, politics, culture, philosophy, reality tv, podcasting, ect. I may even decide to play dj once and awhile and do an all music podcast. It's one of my goals with 3 Ring Podcast, to not be predictable and always interesting.
